Since their grand opening in the summer of 1994, Trailhead has become one of the best gift shops to find unique, meaningful souvenirs and gifts in Zion Canyon and Springdale, Utah. The original Trailhead store was 816 square feet. In 1997 they remodeled and expanded into the old Zion Photo space which doubled the size of Trailhead’s store allowing them to offer a wider selection of hiking gear, backpacking equipment, hiking shoes and sandles, hats, and t-shirts. The gift shop next door closed after September 11, 2011, so Trailhead expanded again in the spring of 2002 which gave them a store with over 3,000 square feet of retail space to offer even more sandstone sculptures, Native American jewelry, kid’s toys, and souvenirs.

Along with their growth over the past years they have developed a quality mix of items that appeal to everyone.
