The Kanab Heritage House is just a short walk from the Heritage Museum. John Rider and his son F.M. Rider built the house in 1894 for Henry Eyring Bowman. They made it from locally quarried stone and local lumber. Edwin M. Ford burned and moulded the kiln brick for the interior and exterior walls.
